1. Purpose & Private Research Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the operation and internal use of the Systematic Health Analytics / indy_bets application and data processing suite ("Application"), maintained by Systematic Capital Management LLC.
The Application is maintained exclusively for private, internal quantitative research, self-quantification, and statistical modeling. It integrates personal wearable biometrics from the Ōura Ring platform via Ōura API v2 with longitudinal clinical laboratory panels and quantitative medical imaging data (such as MRI voxel fat fractions). The Application is not offered to the public as a commercial SaaS product.
2. Informational & Non-Medical Advice Disclaimer
NO MEDICAL ADVICE: The Application, including its statistical factor models, moving averages, circadian profiles, biomarker trend plots, and MRI organ fat correlations, is strictly for academic, informational, and personal wellness optimization purposes. It is not a medical device, nor does it provide medical diagnosis, disease screening, treatment recommendations, or clinical advice. Always consult a qualified physician regarding medical decisions.
3. Ōura Health Oy Platform Compliance
Use of the Ōura API is conditioned upon strict compliance with terms established by Ōura Health Oy:
- The Application accesses data strictly through legitimate OAuth2 authentication mechanisms authorized by the individual user.
- The Application respects all rate limits, call frequencies, and caching constraints imposed by the Ōura API.
- "Ōura" and the Ōura logo are registered trademarks of Ōura Health Oy. This Application is an independent internal research project and is not endorsed or certified by Ōura Health Oy.
4. User Rights, Token Handling & Security
OAuth tokens and credentials generated for this integration are stored locally on private workstations and are kept confidential. The user may terminate the Application’s access to their Ōura account at any time through the official Ōura account management dashboard.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Systematic Capital Management LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application, including API downtimes, third-party changes to data structures, or local data storage events.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland and the United States of America.
